A year or so ago one of my algebra professors had us purchase an online access code for a math program, but he only ever assigned us work out of the text. And now that I’m taking Trigonometry I can either choose to waste hundreds of dollars on a textbook or about $80 on an access code that includes an ebook of the text. Except I remembered I had that extra one and now my class is FREE!!!! AHEHEHEHEEHEHE. You don’t know how happy this makes me. I’ve never loved math, but now that I don’t have to waste over $200 just to learn it I could dance with joy~!

& Loki would have been in every single class with me,
I might have had a much better time in high school than I really did.
[I can’t promise better grades as Loki is in the same class & he’s distracting, you know?& we are together.]
I’ve done nothing but complain about my college algebra class, this is true… But Matrices… I simply love you! Something I can grasp easily and understand. Algebra, I mostly hate you. But when I can do you - that is when I love you. ;) Geeky puns and innuendos. No, I’m not a math head.. yet. But I wouldn’t mind being one. Math nerds, I envy you.
I have the absolute worst professor ever for college algebra.. she is probably going to be fired after this semester. I am trying so hard to understand how to do this homework that she didn’t even explain to us how to do, but I am so frustrated because I’m basically failing this class. :( I can’t afford to fail. Not to mention the class alone cost me over $220. I’ve had to teach myself out of the book to get this far. -_________- I need a miracle, hahaha.

ϟ Angels in Disguise
Today was a beautiful, strange surprise.. I made a new friend. It was very weird - I was just sitting at a table under a tree while waiting for my yoga class to begin and he came up to me. Maybe it is not really so strange, but being a reserved person for most of my life, I wouldn’t just go up to someone I didn’t know like that. He just asked me if I would be his new friend. Hahaha I laughed at him at first because of what an awkward thing that is to say, but I left feeling like something had fallen out of the sky and onto my head as if life was prodding me to snap out of it and wake up. I was wondering if perhaps he was special, but I think he was just a very different character than those I am used to spending time with. I don’t know many people who are so soft spoken that I have to really make an effort to listen to. He didn’t talk much, just smiled, picked off a fallen leaf from my sweater and patted me on the back.
I usually keep to myself and avoid contact with people I don’t know, but today I felt like life was trying to show me that it’s okay to be open to new people. It’s okay to share a friendly smile with a stranger and nothing more. Sometimes people just need the silent company of another. Life will always surprise you in peculiar ways.
My little brother bought our family the latest edition of Harry Potter Scene It and kept it a secret from me!! It arrived today. :D I am so excited to get my exam over with so I can play it. :D
I got my hair cut! :) I’m so boring, I get the same one every time. I like it, though. I also got Blueberry Crisp and Crunchy Peanutbutter Clif Bars. (: Now I just have to complete my math midterm paper. I have to come up with three algebraic concepts we’ve learned in college algebra and give an example of using them in real life situations. So far I have one used for gardening and plotting dimensions. I wanted to include something you could use while rock climbing or doing yoga. Any thoughts/ideas?
